Title: Modeling and deconvolution of evoked potentials in subjects with depression

Background: To date, analyses of evoked potentials (EPs) in subjects with depression or depressed mood have used phenomenological methods, such as component scoring.
Aims: This project aims to apply two recently developed methods of EP analysis to provide further insight into the physiological basis of depression, with possible distinction between melancholic and non-melancholic subtypes.
Method: This study will apply model-based fitting and deconvolution techniques to the group of 321 participants (depression, depressed mood, and control groups) used in the recent paper by Kemp et al.
